Today is our 37th wedding anniversary. I am interested in knowing how many others make it this far. How many make it to 40 or 50 years?
What percentage of marriages last 37 years?

Not many, we're coming up on our 20th anniversary and we only know of one other couple who are still married out of 30 odd weddings that we've attended. Not all but most by divorce a few, sadly, by the death of a spouse.
Roughly, I'd say about 10% of marriages in the west last as long as yours but it varies wildly by country.
10% being the average for the west (Europe and the USA/Canada), in the states I imagine it's more like 2% and in a country like Israel I imagine it's more like 80%... overall in the west I'd say 10% is the average but our personal experience is lower than that in Hungary and the UK (the two countries I'm from) the one in 30 I mentioned. hope that clears it up for you.
Precise figures will be very hard if ont impossible to come by as the reasons for why people are not married any more vary considerably; death of a spouse, divorce, seperation but not divorce, etc. Those figures would be recorded seperately and would need to be collated. I suppose you could get a general Idea if you simply google "national divorce rates" or "divorce rate per country" but exact figures would be very hard to come by.
Thanks for the reply. For the reasons you mention, maybe the best I can hope for is a good guess.
I am trying to get a little more precise. Interesting that you say about 10% when your answer says two out 31 (yours and one other = 6%) have only made it to 20 years.
