I'm writing a story and don't know what to name the characters. The story is kind of gothic, but it is also light and childish. It's a fantasy about a girl moving to the "edge of the world" and entering another world. I need help with four main character names. I'll write a short description of each of them below.
1.) Female- This is the main character. She is a daydreamer and has a very bright outlook on life, despite her broken family. She one day stumbles upon a gateway to the other dimension. Though she is nieve, she is very strong and a good leader. For names, I was thinking of something similar to Pandora or Joy or something like that.
2.) Male- This is the second main character. He is very dorky and tends to have greedy intentions, but lets his caring nature get the best of him. Since he is from the fantasy world, he needs an outlandish name. He is weak but useful and used for mainly a navigator and a source of comic relief. I have no clue what he should be named.
3.) Female- One of the darker characters in the story, this one is constantly debating on which side she's on. She is very deceiving, manipulative, and clever, but this self conflict makes her weak and slower than she has proven to be in the past. This character should have a dark, mysterious, and maybe sexy name to go with her personality.
4.) Male- This character is the "bad guy." He wants to take over both worlds. He seems to be like any other villan, being an evil, greedy mastermind. His motivation to take over both worlds is nothing more than the need for power and riches. His name needs to be (obviously) a villan's name.
I would appreciate the names meaning and for you to give multiple names. Though I don't need this, I would also like last names if possible.
