I work for a junkyark compagny for 4 years and half . The owner sold the propety . Does he owe us as employer some cash before going out the last day of work

it sounds like he was baleing on the bussiness which would tell me he was loseing money or just didn't want to be doing it anymore i would think he has to pay what he owes to you or the new boss has to do you know if the new owner is going to need you or does he have employees he is bringing in to replace you ?he or the new owner has to pay you for your hours worked they might but always do sometimes give a severance pay package or let you draw unemployment
how long have you worked there, if they are making you redundant then they owe you money for every year of service you have done for them even without a contract if you work a certain shift do a set amount of hours and receive a certain wage that becomes an automatic contract so they should defiantly give you redundancy pay
