I need to choose a song for an audition, from either the show or some thing from the same genre. Since its alot of women and duets I'm leaning towards another song but can't pinpoint the genre for sure

Into The Woods is considered mostly upbeat, musical theatre, and since it's written by Stephen Sondheim that pretty much puts it in it's own category. I would suggest singing for an Into The Woods audition, something from another Sondheim musical such as A Little Night Music. You could try "The Glamorous Life", or "Send in The Clowns". Also, "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" from Sweeney Todd. Good luck!
