What is it you're searching for in life?
What did you think a happy life is and what did you used to think?
What means the most to you? (Objects, people, beliefs, goals)
I feel like in life we go on this constant journey to fill ourselves up and feel fulfilled but it gets emptied time and time again, so we go around looking for what it is that makes us happy and truthful to ourselves.
Psychiatrist Viktor E. Frankl noted: “Ever more people today have the means to live, but no meaning to live for.” The Scriptures long ago showed that pursuing riches and pleasures without having a deeper purpose in life is empty and unsatisfying. “A mere lover of silver will not be satisfied with silver, neither any lover of wealth with income. This too is vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 5:10 [5:9, TNK]) The affluent may seem to enjoy a life of ease and pleasure-seeking, but “even in laughter the heart may be in pain.”—Proverbs 14:13.
Who can show us how to lead a truly meaningful life?
The Scriptures provide realistic and practical guidance that can help us make the best of our circumstances, whatever they may be. More important, the Scriptures provide a foundation for confidence that the conditions on earth will be much better in the near future. Indeed, future conditions will be as God intended them to be

Many have tried to fill that gap of happiness by becoming rich and famous, yet all these things never bring them true happiness.Even King Solomon the wisest man in the bible, who had all the riches and everything and more money could buy said a few things:
1) Ecclesiastes 2:11, 'But when I reflected on all the works that my own hands had done and on all the hard work that I had toiled to accomplish, I saw that everything was futile, a chasing after the wind; there was nothing of real value under the sun.' Solomon acknowledge that everything he accomplish, and he accomplished quite a lot, that it all amounted to nothing like chasing after the wind. Here Solomon was stating that accumulating materials gains don't bring true happiness. So what really brings true happiness?
2) Solomon tells us what will bring true happiness at Ecclesiastes 12:13, 'The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man.' Being obedient to God's commandments will give us true happiness that we will not find any where.
Psalms 144:15 says, 'Happy is the people whose God is Jehovah.' Having a close relationship with my Heavenly Father and striving to make his heart happy gives me true happiness that no amount of money could ever buy. A person who is searching for happiness will never find it unless they come to know God and form a close relationship with him. For James 4:8 tells us, 'Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you.' God is extending a beautiful invitation to all who is looking for true happiness. Imagine having God, the Grand Creator as your best friend! It will be the best friendship you have ever form because he is the type of God who will have your back, a friend who will never leave you, a friend who is always happy and wants to see you happy also. I don't have much materially, but accepting God's invitation to be his friend have given me what money cannot buy true happiness. When you realize the Truth about life, you stop searching. Yes there is point and time in life when you ask questions, ‘Who am I?’ ‘Where did I come from, where will I go?’ ‘Who is God, where is God, what is God?’ ‘Where is heaven and hell?’ ‘What is the meaning of the Soul?’ ‘What is the meaning of rebirth?’ ‘Does the law of Karma exist?’ ‘What is Enlightenment?’ Everybody wants happiness, but we are chasing success, thinking success is happiness. We are climbing the peak of achievement which doesn't exist, it’s an illusion. Therefore, when you go in the quest of the Truth, you realize that happiness is not achievement, it’s actually contentment and fulfillment and most people want that. We want to live a life of peace but still, we suffer. Then we go in quest of life which has no suffering. We go further towards liberation, towards realization of the Truth, towards Enlightenment . That is our ultimate goal to realize we are the Divine Soul. To be liberated and to be united with God. That means most to me.
