My favorite HP film is the Prisoner of Azkaban. I also like the Order of the Phoenix.

Why is it famous? because it has a good storyline, the characters are great, it was well set out, and it was made from one of the most popular books ever. And my favourite film... is probably Prisoner of Azkaban, but i have watched all of them, i am reading Goblet of Fire right now, and i read the other 3 before that.
Solid answer. Few movies have ever kept people watching over and over. other than Lord of the Rings and Star Wars episodes 1,2,and 3.
