Because if you notice soccer players in Europe grow up in poverty and all they have is a soccer ball and they play and practice every day and get scouted on the streets and youth academies help them develop while here in America soccer player come from middle class families and usually go to university before they can become pro whereas in europe they go straight to being pro
Actually, there are more clubs with higher budgets to build academies to train young players to play for them. For example, a very good 10 year old in Europe will be recruited to join a clubs academy and then they will spend lots of time training and getting better. in North America, although there are academies, most super athletes would rather play other sports and there are many super soccer players who play high school and then college instead of joining an academy. Its not that they learn faster it's that they have better training and more exposure to playing against others.
