My friend drove her truck with a real bad miss and water pump leaking for around 30 miles and then she drove it in town for about a month and then my husband fixed the miss and put a water pump in it, we heard something that sounded like the belt, so they took it for a test drive and she said he real quickly got the truck up to 80 miles a hour and then the engine started nocking what made the engine go

if lucky it could be a plug ,esp if head gasket is blown and water is in oil. ck stick for water in oil. it will look like white grease.if no sign of water,ck all plugs and wires & all electrical in circuit.
