What kind of platic is magnum flashabou made out of? and where can I buy rolls of it?

Magum flash is used on multiple fishing lures. It is tinsel like. I can buy it at places like cabelas, but i want to make my own. I invision its cut down to size from a bigger roll. I want to buy the roll and cut it myself.
