ive had to wear hypoallergenic earrings for awhile now, however the hypoallergenic earrings have also began to hurt my ears. Why are they all of a sudden now hurting? What can i do?

You might have developed some kind of allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to the earrings. If the ears are irritated then don't wear any earrings for a few days until the ears have healed. Then just try either gold or silver earrings. Some people can only wear gold (and white gold) and some can only wear silver. You'll have to try it out. Just buy small simple cheap earrings of each and see which one doesn't hurt the ears and stick with it.
