Main character is female and attends high school. However, she is possessed by a demon/ghost hunting shinigami whom only appears when a ghost is nearby. Turns out someone in her class has a crush on the SHINIGAMI while his best friend has a crush on the GIRL BEING POSSESSED and they fight over it. I read this sometime back in 2006-2007 I believe.
