Divine right of kings is the concept that the right to rule derives from God and that kings are answerable for their actions to God alone. So what is the opposite idea?

That people are responsible for there own actions and that there right to rule comes from the people. I personally believe that every ruler no matter how terrible is a part of God's plan, we just can't always tell what is.
