Using P.E.M.D.A.S. you would do (1+2) first and get 6/2(3), then you would multiply the 2 by the 3 and get 6. Then it would be 6/6, which equals 1.

This is ambiguous. It might be (6/2)(1+2) or it might be 6/(2(1+2)). There is no answer when you don't know what the question is.
