I'm trying to figure out if my work place has been screwing me around. They have me on some sort of retail warehouse award rate that doesn't pay that well. I deliver plasterboard on a medium rigid truck that ranges from loads of 1 tonne to loads of 6 tonne. Some deliveries sometimes include other items too, but all of this is hand unloaded by me. So my job includes driving the truck plus the hard manual labour of unloading. Does anyone know what the official award and rate is for what I should be on?
I work for a big construction supply company and deliver to all sites.
What is the proper award and rate for a plasterboard delivery driver?
