Question to toxicologists of herpetologists: suppose you have a blood sample of someone who died from a snake venom. Is it possible to identify (let's say 24 hours after death) exactly what kind of snake bit him? If yes, how long will it take, and what equipment and materials will be needed?
Thank you.
What is the procedure of identifying venom in blood?
