What is the problem of plastic waste ? solution?

It can't be decomposed, at least not at the speed of our life time, and when melted, it produces toxic air that pollutes our oxygen. That's why it's better if people recycle plastic items which are then molded into another plastic item, therefore, it's not polluting the air, nor is it destroying our environment as much.
