What is the meaning of "litany of abuse"?

Someone asked me this phrase, but I don't know either.
Is that relates to law? Because I google it and some are related to law. Not sure.

Litany is a church term for a list of of boring things to be recited during a ceremony. Outside of church it is any boring list. Synonym: laundry list

OK, now I learned "litany". But still don't know the meaning if add "abuse" to the phrase.
