“The wetlands, forests, savannahs, estuaries, coastal fisheries and other habitats that recycle air, water and nutrients for all living creatures are being irretrievably damaged.”
Remarks, The Globe and Mail newspaper of Canada.
Scientists say that a three-foot [1 m] rise in sea levels could eliminate a large portion of the world’s coastal wetlands, the home of abundant biodiversity.
To some it seems inevitable that we are headed for disaster, that's the bad news. The good news is, since this is our home, that was created for us, and not by us, we can have absolute confidence of a solution to the problem.
Science has made great efforts to improve and try to fix, the problems we have caused.
In the process, we have made it worst in some areas.
Since we are the creation, we need to ask ourselves, "Can the Creator, correct this mess we've made"?
According to the Bible, the answer is yes. It says, “Here I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart.”—ISAIAH 65:17.
Because the Bible says, "God cannot lie", Titus 1:2 We can put our faith in this promise.
