a fitted sheet is a sheet that has an elastic corner in all corners of the sheet wich makes it fit to the bed properly and wont fall off your bed unless you pull it off yourself
a flat sheet is just a normal sheet you put on the bed
sheet sets are sheets that are 2 of the same pattern/color
a duvet is just a plain white blanket wich you need to put a cover (duvet cover) over so you dont get bits of fluff or cotton everywhere.
a duvet cover is the thing i mentioned before you put the duvet inside the duvet cover not just to keep the fluff in but to make the blanket more comfortable to sleep with
bedding sets are blankets/duvet covers and pillow cases and maybe sheets that all have the same design and colour on them so that it makes your bed look tidy instead of having odd blankets on there.
a down blanket is a big thick blanket that doesn't need a duvet cover cause it has a special smooth fluffy cover sewn together and is a really warm blanket to have in winter
