Many concepts exist: mutual fund, hedge fund, etc. However, I believe right now that investment management fund is another way to say mutual fund, or perhaps it is part of it? Or do these completely differ?

Investment management funds include management of various shares as well as bonds and this process started for the benefit of the investors. Insurance departments, educational organizations, charities etc are the options included in investment management funds.On the other hand Mutual funds derives purchasing of various securities by the investors. It includes investment on a property that are being sold publicly.
