I know quite a plenty of good pc maintenance tools for Windows 8, but all of them were developed mostly for 32bit system. As I know there are some vital difference in how the 64bit system works, so maybe there are 64bit specialized tools for Windows 8?

Its the one I use & have always came back to after trying others ( many IT professionals I have spoken to have done the same!). Why, well for removing the debris that is left behind from installing/uninstall, removing temp files. It will also perform the uninstall function better than windows, New feature is finding & removing duplicate files. It also has a very safe registery cleaner which by default offers to create a reg backup before starting. I do not recommend Registery cleaners & view them as a tool of last resort. They claim to speed up your system, but no one yet has demonstrated actual measurable improvement, but many have broken them!
The only other optimizer worth a look is Ashampoo's Win Optimizer, but you will have to buy that after the free trial (although old versions are free & that will get you on their deep discount email list ( beware it can get a bit spammy! but the prices cheap!) It certainly is more comprehensive & as equally intuitive, but then CCleaner is free!
