I really dislike public high school and I just want to be able to do it at home and not be so stressed out... There is 800 people in my high school and I dislike some of my teachers as well. There are just so many reasons I want to do school online or at home somehow. I have heard of people finishing it in like a year or even less, and I want to be able to just be done with school because it is so time consuming and I have better things I could be doing with my life. I am just having a really hard time deciding what school to do.... there are so many options and I want to pick a good one that would get me where I need to be!!!

Surviving high school is all part of the test, not simply academic exams, it shows to future employers that you are tough enough to stick through difficult times and will not give up in the face of a challenge. Everybody hates high school, but those who drop out do lose out very quickly in terms of income and life chances. It will actually be MUCH harder to do all those things you think are more important. Online courses are not viewed with the same level of respect as real live education. Do you think they will do a better job of teaching you to write "There are 800 people" instead of "There is 800 people"? School is finished quicker than you expect. Those who drop out have to live a lifetime of wishing they hadn't. Stay strong buddy!
Escape if you can. Take classes at the community college, get an afternoon job, and get started on a life. Take acting and public speaking. Get "Dress For Success" by John Molloy and consider all the advice for students.
- Vocal skill will affect your earning power more than any other detail.
- Acting skill will get you a job offer even when you are not qualified for the job.
- The most important benefit you get from school is your address book.
- The difference between a successful person and a very successful person is that the latter knows hundreds more people, and knows them quite well.
- No school will teach you any of the above. They don't even teach how to do well in their school.
(About the clothes: he doesn't say expensive clothes.)
BTW, nobody has ever EVER asked to see my diploma. (Colleges did ask where I went to high school.)
Not really a great approach to get an online diploma as quickly as possible. Online degrees, for the most part, are not taken seriously in the professional world. Enroll in a regular college and they'll offer a ton of online classes. That's how you can take legitimate online courses. Good luck to you!
