It depends on how much weight you want to lose. If you want to just drop in weight size then get on some cardio equipment the treadmill is good but you will actual have to RUN on it at a level of 5.5 or 6 speed and the Eliptical is really good to it will work ur whole body. Be careful make sure to change up your workout plan because your body can get use to the workout and you will eventual plateu. I use to be a personal trainer and I would tell my ladies to do cardio atleast 20 to 30 mins everytime they went to the gym and pick one day to do an interval ( start out with a warm up and then go fast for a min then slow for a min and do that over and over again for about 30 minutes make sure to include a cool down) . but dont forget some of the best workouts your going to get will be off the machines and on your own. ie squats, curls, mountain climbers, push ups, curl ups,etc...
