We are an LBGT couple who are just ready for a change. We love small little towns where everyone knows your name. Cute little shops and maybe some beautiful parks. I know there are a ton of small towns that fit that description. However, it cant be too expensive. When we go to buy a home/rent we are wanting our mortgage/rent to be in between 1500/2000 per month. With us being lgbt we would also want to feel safe and our children to feel safe when that time comes. One last thing is we would prefer to be somewhat close to a big city, maybe an hour or less away. Is this too much to ask for? lol. I'm hoping not.

I have personal experience with this as a lot of my immediate family are members of the LGBT community. My mother being lesbian, having a transgender sister(now my brother) and a bisexual sister. I grew up in Port Charlotte, Florida. It is a small town and is about 45 minutes north of Fort Myers and just about 1 and a half hours south of Tampa. From personal experience That is a good place to try. If not North Carolina also has some good communities as well as some places in Massachusetts. Hope this helps. And Congrats
Well I really am just 13 but there are a few places I can recommend not to go . And move to. Well number 1 don't go to Pennsylvania I live there now and I wish I didn't there is so much homophobic activity it would just bring you down every day. Also don't move to Texas my buddy Jude lives in Austin now and there's a lot of negativity. But congrats I hope you both have a wonderful life and home.
