I work with children and adults with special needs and would like to eventually open a day program or even a residential facility for those with developmental disabilities. What education does someone need to open this type of business? I have a Bachelor's and would obviously hire additional staff. This would also be a small business with less than 20 clients. If it matters the location will be in the state of Wisconsin.
Should I focus on the business side (accounting, management, etc) or go back for a masters in Psychology or get specialized certifications or just gain experience?
