Is it like someone guiding your meditation e.g: you get guided meditation so is the perosn still guiding your meditation but doing it subliminally?

Those words contradict each other.
When you start meditation, you try to quieten the mind that is agitated, the mind is jumping from thought to thought, and you try to watch the mind. You also watch the thought. But there comes a time when you are able to go beyond the mind. Probably that state of meditation is subliminal meditation, where you lose consciousness of the mind. It is often called a state of “Samadhi”, a state of nothingness, a state of becoming conscious of the fact that we are not this body, not this mind- we are the Divine Soul.
