What is science?

Science is anything that can be measured.

Modern science is severely distracted because some people think science is anything commanded by a central authority. That is why they try to get laws passed forcing everybody to believe their theories. IOW science becomes the state religion. You don't believe that? Here is a forum provided for people to discuss astronomy pictures published by NASA. Notice rule 15: discussion of alternative theories, the definition of science, is specifically forbidden.
