What is one thing that you once believed but later rejected when you thought deeply about it?

I grew up in Catholic schools, I believed in their image of God my entire life. It took until college to realize they just made me scared to question anything. Now I have a more independent take on God and the universe, honestly my thoughts are unintentionally leaning toward Buddhism.
