Those chemical forces should be covalent bonds.
Your car is also held together by chemical forces. we wouldn't call a car a molecule wouldn't we?

This is totally wrong- the atom is the smallest "piece" of an element.

molecule can be defined as group of two or more atoms. eg: Hydrogen molecule has two H atoms.
