The smallest particle of a substance that retains the chemical and physical properties of the substance and is composed of two or more atoms; a group of like or different atoms held together by chemical forces.
Those chemical forces should be covalent bonds. Your car is also held together by chemical forces. we wouldn't call a car a molecule wouldn't we?
not necessarily covalent bonds, they can be ionic bonds, london fores, permanent/induced dipoles etc
