I'm an asian, moving to a place I'm unfamiliar with. I'm just asking what are the schools in America like?

Every state in the USA is very different, it's almost like living in separate countries when going state to state. So a big response would be based on which state you will be moving to and what grade you will be in. It also depends on if you are going to private or public school. For instance I went to a Utah public school, Utah is a major home for a religion called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints" aka Mormons or LDS (Latterday Saints). It's like the Vatican for this religion. Therefore a lot of the state has influence from this religion because the majority of the people who live here are religious. Schools are strict on the type of literature that is taught. There isn't stereotypical bulling like dunking people in toilets, locking in lockers, etc. You will have to take math, history, English, Science, physical education, and then electives where you choose between a variety of other classes like music, computers, art, home economics, wood shop, etc. However, every state is different. That's just my experience with Utah.
