I am trying to buy something from Craigslist and the seller said he will use EZnet Transaction and I never heard of this service, are they legitimate? Anybody used them? I am not good with computers and I though I better ask first before I do anything stupid, so anything would be appreciated.

I wasn't so lucky, they said the shipping takes 3 days and it took 4 but it got here. **bleep**ed up my weekend plans but turned out OK in the end. They came with an excuse that they are very busy on eBay and CL and they couldn't ship in time but that's OK at least I received what i purchased.
Yes, I purchased a computer and some accessories almost a month ago and I must say I was impressed by their service and the way they handled my transaction.
I must admit that I was a little scared at first even though I've heard about them before, I never actually used it but the service seemed safe so I went for it. Nothing negative to say about it. They are definitely not a scam but make sure you read their security page before you do any transaction so you can be 100% sure you are using the right service.

I can't say anything bad about the service either, except they seem a little expensive if you are using them to sell anything expensive but for buyers the service is excellent. They are completely free and they ship the items to your home, what more can you ask?

The system is one of the best and most secure for internet transactions, I personally never used something like this before and I am talking from a buyer's perspective because I recently purchased a few items from craigslist and they was sold through eznet.
Besides the fact that the transaction was free of charge for me, I felt secure when I saw how their system works, the seller doesn't have access to the funds until you receive and decide whether or not you accept the item, etc. This eliminates any kind of current online fraud: they are not asking for your credit card or any kind of sensitive or financial information from you, they are not accepting payment types such as Western Union and MoneyGram like the scammers do, and the example can continue.
I for one think that this is an excellent service and there is no doubt about using it if you are purchasing something online especially from Craigslist where you have no protection in any individual transaction.
Agree, good service and legitimate. Their system is very secure and you can't beat their offers even if they are a little expensive for the sellers who sell large items or expensive items, but from the buyers point of view is very convenient.
I am surprised there are such questions where people ask if they are legitimate.
I am retired and I first found out about EZnet Transaction when I found an ATV on Craigslist and the seller said he will use EZnet Transaction. I got scared and I asked my kids to investigate this EZnet Transaction thing and I said what the **bleep**. I sent the payment like the invoice instructed me to in Canada and I thought I will never see the Polaris but I did, to my surprise.
So the kids got away with it :)
I am currently buying some fishing gear and I should receive the package in a day or two. Very happy with them.
I sold a few things through this system when we moved to a new house and we had stuff we couldn't use any more at the new location or don't have the space for them and it was an excellent time saver and a relief because we could concentrate on the moving and all that. So the system worked for us and we are what they call a "satisfied customer".
never used a better service than this one, have to admit that i was skeptical at first and i think using this service is hard for the first time but after you complete this purchase you will see that you will definitely buy from them in the future if you have the chance.
However, let us know how the transaction went if you already finished it.
I sold a few things through EZnet Transaction and everything was exactly as they said. Some of my buyers were skeptical because they couldn't see the items before they sent the payment, folks that do business the old fashioned way, some of them got scared and backed out and I don`t blame them but most of them purchased my items and they was not disappointed.
What can I say, they are a good service if you go through with them and accept the fact that if you are buying from Craigslist, you can't see the item before you send the payment, but it will get there.
Excellent service and I can't believe that some people that buy and sell online never heard of it, they are an excellent eBay store and the only service available on Craigslist that protects buyers and sellers.
My son use them all the time and never heard him complaining about anything. I think craigslist should make a special page for them so anybody can know about it and use them. Very helpful.
