You apparently are working with some new concept. Google finds no definition for "crosscancel", and "work form" depends on what work you are talking about. This question needs more explanation to identify any particular answer.
As you can write 40 = 20 * 2,
40/13 * 1/2 = (( 20 * 2) * 1) / ( 13 * 2) and the 2 just cancels out. Hence
40/13 * 1/2 = 20/13
