Just curious
I would like to say I am proud of a close friends performance/success and say that I am 'proud' of them, however I feel proud would suggest I am related to their success, like a teacher maybe be proud of their student...
I could use I am happy for you etc. but I want to express my feeling that I feel is very close to being proud. I want to use another word that may be out their that isn't so much related to my doings, yet still expresses that deep satisfaction or pleasure to see or hear about my close friends success etc.
I don't want to stick with the generic 'I'm happy for you' ahahaha
