What is an adjective for something difficult to find information on?

I know of no precise term (in the sense of "I can find nothing useful on google"), but it isn't difficult to get the point across. "Documentation on cobol is scarce / lacking", describing a trait is fairly accurate.
Obscure and any of its synonyms.
Esoteric - known to only a small group.
Elusive - difficult to grasp.
