My mom told me that her grandmother made city chicken on a stick (kinda like a kebab without vegetables) and she used all beef, not pork or chicken or anything. However, my mom can't remember which seasonings to use or how to cook it. Does anyone know a recipe for this? I can't find any recipes and neither can my mom.

With meat preparation, the problem is not lack of recipes, it is infinite variation and privacy. Each cook has their own secret blend of spices / ingredients, or marinade / cooking time, or technique, or temperature, or setup to achieve a unique flavouring. If your great grandmother's recipe hadn't been written down in detail, it is lost. Imitation is possible through sufficient experimentation, even improvement, but never the same. That's fairly difficult even with just a different person.
