“There is no such thing as an egalitarian empire. The imperial notion, by its very definition, posits the domination of one ethnic or national group over another.” What is a minority? How are minorities treated? Why do empires create minorities?

A minority is a person of a group that has less members than the group with the most members. Most minority groups are ethnic/nationalistic groups. Sometimes, there'll be a religious minority group, an economic minority group, or actually any other type of group of two or more divisions. Majority parties often look down on minorities, but there are individuals in majority groups that often help the minorities. Empires create minorities inevitably. No matter what, empires have to dominate a party by becoming the majority and removing the minority party by any means possible. There will always be a minority so long as we divide ourselves by anything we have.
