I heard your Pokemon Trainer ID boosts your luck of getting a shiny.
I am soft reseting for a Torchic in Ruby, and my ID is currently 10100. Is this a good or bad ID? :/
What is a good example of a good Pokemon trainer ID to hunt for shinies?

Ok i don't know if this site or people are still up and running on it, but I wanted to replay Pokémon White 2 , and I needed help, with my trainer ID, so, I've been restting for the last 2 hours, and been reading about things, like Pyramid and repeating numbers, so I got "33833" I'm going to sit and bet it's a good one, I see that there are pyramid numbers such as ex; "12321" and repeating numbers such as "01000" and read that pyramid gives the chances of 1/6000 while repeating gives 1/2000 so I don't know if my trainer ID is a pyramid or a repeating number, can anyone help, it's "33833"
So I haven't seen a post dedicated to this topic and thought I should create one. For those that haven't heard, the random number generator ("RNG") in emerald is not actually random. It starts with exactly the same frame sequence (a frame is 1/60 of a second) every time you soft reset your game (i.e., press and release start/select/A/B). What this means is that once you figure out at what frames your shiny pokemon appear, you can repeatedly soft reset at that exact moment and catch TONS of shinies. So if you have emerald and want to catch shinies, hopefully this will help you. And this method definitely works -- I just heard about this a few days ago and have already caught the following shinies through this method:
Groudon
Poochyena
Golbat X3
Solrock
Abra (who I didn't notice was shiny and have accidentally rare candied, LOL)
It is hard
Lol
Wait wat
