It depends on what your preference is in films. They are both extraordinary films, but they are both completely different. Die Hard is your typical 1980's R-rated action flick full of exciting gun fights, a tough-as-nails hero, a very suave villian, and some good humor added into the mix. Breakfast Club is a 1980's teen comedy involving 4 kids who all get in-school suspension on a Saturday afternoon. They all start off hating each other, but at the end of the film they all become good friends. It is a very iconic movie. Well, both movies are. Die Hard became a pretty successful film series, and Breakfast Club is referenced in all kinds of things. If you like action films more than comedy than Die Hard would be better to you, and vice versa with comedies and Breakfast Club. I personally love both movies, and both are in my DVD collection.
