I haven't read "The Borrowers" in years, but the recent movie has me thinking about its implications. What would happen if the world suddenly found out that an entire society of tiny people existed right under their noses? Would the Borrowers be welcomed and integrated into society? Would they be left alone? Would they be hunted down and exterminated?
