What happens to the voltage when betteries are connected in same polarities?

If you put them in parallel (positive to positive and negative to negative) you get more amps and a longer battery life. Your highest voltage will be of the largest voltage battery in parallel. The voltage stays the same.

this means they are connected in parallel.you will get the same voltage but the current will add up.you will get maximum current
