So I recently got a Dell laptop, a new version, the one with windows 8. The other week I lost my other laptop's charger, and I used the Dell's charger on it. I charged my Dell right after, then I left for school, didn't use it for three days, and when I came back to print some course outlines the laptop would not turn on. I tried removing and replacing the battery.
And can it be fixed? If not, what happened?
What happened to my laptop?

It DID turn on after some prodding, but only for about 10 seconds before it shut down.

Also troubleshooting isn't helping.

First of all, I ask a question- When you left it back in your school for three days then you left it as turned on position or not??? If yes, then don't worry about it. Because, your laptop is charge less right now. Just plugged it well and after charging it will turn on anyway.
It was at home the whole time. In a bag, though, and I tried charging it already.
