What grade point average does a 9th grader need to earn?

totally depends on the school district. Most GPAs range from a 0 to 4.0. (at least in the US) Usually, anything above a 3.0 is considered very good. However, I know my school only required like a 1.9 or something to pass to the next grade, and you could take harder classes that could bump your GPA past 4.0. That all varies by school district and state and country (although I'm assuming youre in the US)
