What does the term skipping bail mean?

When you are arrested you will be able to bond out of jail if the crime you are charge with is low enought , and you can afford it . you put up 10% of the total bail. this is suppose to insure that you will show up for your trail. If you don't show up for trail you loose the money. This is call jumping bail. You will be rearrested and not able to post or put up money for bail again.
