The Bible teaches us a lesson(s). What are they?

I assume you mean the New Testament...
It teaches to not flaunt one's religion, the way most Christians do, such as by wearing a cross, and letting people know they're Christian.
It teaches to not give to charity publicly, the way most Christians do.
It teaches to pray only in private, the way most Christians don't, by going to church.
It teaches to not pray for things (since God already knows what you want), but that's the opposite of what Christians do.
It teaches to love one another, not to do what Christians do, which is to look down upon everyone who isn't a Christian (using pity or saving as their excuse), and not to express bigotry and hatred on others (like gays, who Christians use the excuse of a line in the Old Testament to justify their actions, even though they ignore everything else of the Old Testament -- hypocrites).
How very Christian of you. Nice cheek turning. More hypocrisy.
How many indigenous people in North, Central and South America were killed because they wouldn't convert to Christianity? How very Christian.
So-called Christians pick and choose the pieces of the Old and New Testament to follow, by calling some passages literal and others figurative. They twist the words to match the way they want to live, and to feel superior. Hypocrites.
It's a little ironic. Jesus' teachings were all about pointing out the hypocrisy of his people (the Jews), with the goal of getting them (and no other people) to continue to follow all of the hundreds of rules in the Torah, but to additionally behave as better humans. I'm about pointing out the hypocrisy of Christians, with the goal of getting y'all to behave as better humans.
Shut up uncaged and mind ur business. Got it? Good God, you're such a pathetic little loser.
What a fine argument. Having trouble with facts? They don't mesh well with your false concepts? Nice cheek turning. Hypocrites.
THE Bible is unlike any other book—it contains loving instruction from God. The Bible contains truths that give enlightenment. The godly principles in the Bible show us how to live in a way that brings physical benefits. The Bible answers questions as:
Does God really care about us? God never causes what is wicked. “It is unthinkable for the true God to act wickedly, for the Almighty to do wrong!”—Job 34:10.
Will war and suffering ever end? God will bring an end to all injustice and suffering. The Bible promises: “[God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things [including today’s injustices and sufferings] have passed away.”—Revelation 21:3, 4.
What happens to us when we die? At death, humans cease to exist. “The dead know nothing at all,” states Ecclesiastes 9:5. Since the dead cannot know, feel, or experience anything, they cannot harm—or help—the living.—Psalm 146:3, 4.
Is there any hope for the dead? Jesus promised most people who have died will be resurrected. John 5:28, 29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”
How can I pray and be heard by God? Jesus taught us to avoid repeating set formulas in our prayers. “When praying,” he said, “do not say the same things over and over again”— Matthew 6:7. If we want God to listen to our prayers, we must pray in the way that he approves. To do that, we need to learn what God’s will is and then pray accordingly. First John 5:14 explains: “No matter what we ask according to [God’s] will, he hears us.”
How can I find happiness in life? Jesus identified the key to happiness when he said: “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.”— Matthew 5:3. True happiness can be found only if we take steps to fill our greatest need—our hunger for spiritual truth about God and his purpose for us. That truth is found in the Bible. Knowing that truth can help us to discern what is really important and what is not. Allowing Bible truth to guide our decisions and actions leads to a more meaningful life.—Luke 11:28.
YOURS makes the most sense. But not uncaged.
The bible teaches us :
1)To have good habits and to be a better person to society. (Galatians 6:10)
2) It helps us to live by Godly principles that represents the God we serve.
(Galatians 5:22/23)
3) It helps us to display the identifying mark of a true Christian, which is LOVE.
(1John 4:8)
4) It helps us as James 4:8 says,"Draw close to God and he will draw close to you."
5) It helps us to appreciate the great sacrifice God made by sending his only
begotten son as a ransom to die for mankind, so we could have the opportunity to
have a close relationship with our Grand Creator and the opportunity of living
forever. (Matthew 20:28)
6) It teaches us the importance of pleasing God and reaping the benefits.
(Luke 23:43)
These are just a few benefits of knowing what the bible really teaches . If you will like to know more, or discuss anyone of these topics please contact me, I will be more than willing to take you into God's word the bible and answer any one of your concerns.
The scriptures of the world are meant to introduce God to us, to make us believe in God, to pray, to have faith, to have hope and to trust God, to live with enthusiasm, and to love God. Most scriptures take us on these seven steps but then because of rituals and superstitions, we get caught in our scriptures and we go round and round in circles. The scriptures are not interpreted correctly, and we start believing God to be somebody with bone and skin. We don't realize that God is a power that lives within. Unless we go beyond these books, these scriptures, until we go in search of God, we will never find God because God cannot be found. God has to be realized, and that will happen only when we open our real eyes - it starts with self-realization.
Oh. You answered my question. OK, sorry Uncaged. I didn't mean it. No hard feelings?
