and what does this mean 'reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity.'

If something is Valid what does it mean ? Valid as it stands is when a particular point or let's say fact is true. The truth is irrefutable, there is nobody that can argue for instance that the Oceans aren't blue but dark red. Therefore saying the oceans are blue is a valid point.
Breaking down the rest is easy, look at reasoning conducted, to reason is to come to a conclusion, if I list every known colour colour except green and yellow, and then ask what there is left to list ? I can reason quite confidently that it's either yellow or green that need to be written next. Therefore coming to a conclusion, and conducted meaning taking place, If I conduct an experiment then the experiment is taking place.
Assessed meaning evaluated or tested, an assessment is a test, If I assess the situation, I'm basically trying to see what it is, let's say I'm asked to go and assess a potential candidate, I'm there to see the person, and make my comments on whether he would be suitable based on criteria.
And back to Validity once more, strict principles of course being of validity.
So to sum it all up let's say I have bad vision which I do... so I have terrible eyesight and need glasses... someone shouldn't have to ask if they help me because it's only logical that they do . And why is it logical ? because we can reason that glasses were made for poor eyesight besides of course sunglasses and we can also reason that my eyesight is terrible, this is reasoning that I have conducted and assessed based on the fact that I didn't see well before and now do and all of this is based on very strict principles of validity because all of it is based on facts that are 100 percent true and valid, each point ---- I don't see well, the glasses help, glasses are made to help therefore it's logical that I having spent money on them in order to buy them can see better with them. And it's only logical that I need to wear them.
(( I do hope I've helped you to understand a bit better ))
I found it hard to understand at first but as you analysed it thorougly it is actually easy. So thank you once more!
Logic is the modern version of an ancient Greek parlor game where you could get any result you wanted by changing the rules. It is a list of rules to determine whether things are right or wrong. Humans are famously able to consider anything right if it is what they want or wrong if they don't want it. For example the judge uses the same logic to execute a criminal that the redneck uses to lynch a bum. In politics, anything can be true if you keep saying it, and nothing is true if you can't be forced to admit it. And it is all perfectly logical.
A few years ago two men in Texas tied a black man to their pickup and dragged him until he died. A KKK member came from somewhere to investigate and he made a statement on tv. He said "I don't think race had any part in this. That boy probably stole something from them and they were just paying him back. Race had nothing to do with it." Perfectly logical, if you assume that all black men are named "boy" and are thieves.
Thank yo so much! It helped me undertstand alot better, you're the best human on planet earth. I dont know how i can repay you, thank you very much <3
