I worry about things whether it's a guy or a gal who says someone is their life.
I don't want someone to tell me I am their life. That's too big of a responsibility. That's too much weight on my shoulders. Does that make me responsible for them ? I want a 2-way relationship where we both make each other happy but we also have our own lives, jobs, friends, interests, etc. When everything I like is also the other persons then it become a huge freaking bore. Don't tell me you are a mirror of my life, excite me, interest me, teach me, share with me other things. When my life is your life you bore me.
Lots of girls think that is what will keep a guy around not realizing ultimately the responsibility for the entire relationship is his job because she contributes nothing.
Do you get the picture?
