What does it mean when a girl calls a younger guy mister?

Kinda depends on the situation. I'll call some of my guy friends "mister" just to play around and stuff. Or maybe a girl would call a guy that if they're not really close with them, kinda like when you meet a new person you don't say "Hi Tom" you would probably say "Hi Mr. Whatever."
