Recently, this girl I know asked me to join her group for a presentation that she and her partner had already finished making. I didn't think much of it, but the next day she asked again. Additionally, during our labs, in which she usually works with the same partner she has for the presentation, she's been asking me to join. I don't know what that really means. Does it mean we are friends? Additionally, I know she has a boyfriend so I doubt she means anything like that, but again: I don't know.

She might want to be friends or get to know you better. Projects are a great way to get to know someone. Another reason would be if you had something to offer to the presentation. Are you a good speaker? Are you good with people? Do you get a point across? If you add to her group positively then that might be your reason. In a situation like this I think it's safe to ask her why she wants you to be in the group. Good luck and go for it! This might be a great opportunity to make a friend.
