My mom recently had some brownish liquid leeking from her left breast. She first noticed a couple of weeks ago, when a suspicious stain appeared on her night shirt. But soon she found out that if she applyed some pressure around the nipple, the liquid would come out in brown and somewhat transparent droplets.
She also experienced some discomfort. She went to the doctors and they dont know exactly what it is, but have confirmed it as blood, they ran some tests, among them a mamogram, and discovered a subtle cluster or lump inside her breast, not seen clearly, as if its hiding, and the person who conducted an x-ray can confirm it's actually there, because the doctor cant find it physically.
She is also experiencing on and off pain in and around the breast. She is also very sore in her left shoulder and arm. I feel I should also mention that her right breast sometimes hurts too, but it does not leek any liquid. The doctor has decided to conduct a surgery to try to find it, and my mom is trying to ask as many oppinions as possible before agreeing.
I'm really worried and scared for her, i try to be positive and distract her and tell her everything will be fine, but as much as shes trying to be positive, she keeps searching information about cancer, especially breast cancer. I know she fears the posibitlity of cancer, and we've had a scare a few years ago, that proved to be false, but i still want to guarantee her everything will be okay. I'm doing research, and asking some people, but i really need help and information.
Please help, i am only in my teens and i dont want my mom to hurt, emotionally or physically.
