Hi, I have a 32" Sony Bravia LCD 720p HDTV. In the specifications of this tv it says that it is 1080/60p capable. I'm not sure what that means and I'd like to know. Does it by chance mean that I can play my PS4 in full 1080p with an HDMI? Please help.

would you mind clarifying a little more please? i don't understand how a 720p tv can turn to 1080. it wouldn't have enough pixels would it?
It will be able to play off it and it will also look a little better than 720p. My TV is 720 but works with 1080p films I link it up to.
It can only display 720p resolution but is capable of displaying a 1080p encoded file. Imagine a DVD player that can also play blurays. The bluray disc will play fine but the quality will only ever be DVD quality. To get the bluray quality you need a blue ray player, if you want to see 1080p then you need a full HD 1080 (or better) tv.
okay, thank you. that helps a lot.
